A Gulu University Final year student of Business Administration has died after a short illness.

30-year old Lamwaka Monica who was among students graduating in June 2021 passed on at around 4:00pm on Thursday from Gulu Regional Referral Hospital.

The deceased’s brother, Oyet Samuel Agwani said that Lamwaka started complaining of a swollen left leg and was rushed to Gulu Regional Referral Hospital on Thursday where she died.

James Ojok Onono, the Assistant Public Relations Officer for Gulu University when contacted however said they were not yet aware of the death.

The burial has been scheduled for Sunday 25th April at Corner Nwoya, Alero Sub County in Nwoya district.
