A man accused of having a hand in the theft of a motor bike belonging to Emmanuel Otim of Arwot ongo main In Oyam Atidi Myene sub -county Oyam District died after drinking concoction of traditional herbs.

The killer herbs were allegedly prepared by one native Doctors from Butaleja District purportedly to help them identify the suspects.
Trouble started after a man identified as Emmanuel Okello, a resident of Arwotongo main in Myene sub- county hired the service of one witch doctor from Butaleja District in an attempt to identify the person who had stolen his motor bike.
Those who took the blended herbal medicine included the deceased Morrish Omoi, Lawrence Tile, Tonny Odic and Martin Atine all from Myene Sub –county who ran mad and started eating grasses on Sunday evening.

Chairman LC3 of Myene Sub-county James Ogwal confirmed the incident when contacted in a phone interview by Voice of the Gospel FM reporter.
He appealed to the public to alway seek legal options and follow the rightful stept, ading that witchcraft is evil and punishable by the law as well.
On the other hand Morish okello the speaker of Myene Sub-county advised people to work harder instead of going for worldly things.
