Parents has been urged to always cherish their children, teach them respect and offer support in every aspects of life, that they may walk the right path when they grow up.

The call was made by a section of stake holders and school administrators on Thursday 23, November 2023, during the 5th annual Graduation Ceremony held at NEEED KINDERGARTEN AND DAY CARE, located on Kwania Road at Faith Mission of Uganda Church Lira.
Apostle Juma of Jesus the Most High, who delivered the Word of God said, when children are nurtured the right way in love and the fear of God, they will grow up in a way that pleases God.
Citing the book of Ephesians 6:4, he urged parents not to exasperate their children, but instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
He added that the dot com parenting is quiet different from that of P.O.Box, and that parents should be careful and always learn to understand their children, make them feel the love of the mordern world, and invest their finances in the children.
Parents’ representative Mrs. Joy Achellam, applauded parents for bringing their children to NEEED Kindergarten.

She thanked the parents who sought knwledge as an important goal that has the potential to transform the lives of children and communities.
The headteacher Ms. Bridget Auma rated Neeed as one of the best elementary schools based on their love and care for the children since its establishment in 2017.

Direfctor of the school, Dorcus Jubilee Adul, said they are committed to providing good quality education, and laying a concrete foundation for every pupil at NEEED KINDERGARTEN.

She said, the school has partnered with other support teachers from across the country, with an aim at providing children with knowledge, skills and interpersonal competences required for their development, as children’s life chances are strongly influenced by the foundation and quality of their education.
The guest of honour, Caroline Gloria Aduku who is a Woman councilor lira city west .B, representing the people of Adyel, Omito and Amuca in the Council applauded parents for the love and care they have for the school, and for always supporting their children through education, and thanked the director for the visionary work she did in the setting up of the school.

She urged parents to alway take good care of their children, and avoid children from witnessing certain cases of domestic violence in the family.
According to her, domestic violence affects every member of the family, including the children. Adding that, family violence creates a home environment where children live in constant fear, and children who witness family violence are affected in ways similar to children who are physically abused, and they are often unable to establish nurturing bonds with either parent.
