Christians in Kole District have been urged to always deal accordingly with their life challenges, seek the power of God, and focus on creating peace in the community.

The call was made by Rev. Tom Ogweng, during a Sunday service at Te-Opok Faith Faith Mission Church, Alito Sub County, Kole District on Sunday, 17, December 2023.
He cited the spirit of Pharao in Exoducs 5:1, when he was so resistant against God and stone hearted in releasing the Israelites.
He said, a Believers’ life and all challenges are like weed leaves in the garden that dries up when the roots are uprooted.
Rev. Tom reiterated the urge for believers to always pray and break free from the spirit of slavery, adding that, Christians should wake up and always fight against the spirit of Pharaoh that’s making them live in misery.
He said, the same spirit of pharaoh always makes the believers live in bitterness without happiness, and also spoke about the spirit of Haman in the book of Esther 3:5-6, when Haman had plot to kill all the Jews in the area after Modercai refused to bow and worship him.
He added that the spirit of Haman is now controlling the world, through hatred, fight and jealousy among others.
Other spirits that Rev. Tom Ogweng spoke of are the spirits of Cain, Herod, Absalom, Balaam, and the spirit of Goliath.
All these he said, Christians must fight in prayer, that they may overcome.
