Cecilia Atim Ogwal’s daughter, Dr. Rosemary Alwoc Ogwal, has been poised to contest for the Dokolo Woman MP seat, according to a source close to the family.

After Cecilia Ogwal’s burial, a family meeting took place to review her legacy and discuss her unfinished projects.
Recognizing the need for parliamentary representation to actualize these projects, the family decided that a family member, specifically someone close to Cecilia, should step forward.
After several hours of discussion, they agreed to front the eldest daughter, Dr. Rosemary Alwoc Ogwal, to contest for the Dokolo Woman MP position.
The decision was further influenced by a delegation of voters from over 60 parishes in Dokolo district who visited the family after the burial in Alito, Kole district.
