Christians have been urged to always live a Christ-like life and learn to walk in the path of Jesus by praying always and studying the Word of God.

This sentiment was reiterated by Moses Murongo, the head of discipleship at Cure Children’s Hospital, during his address to the congregation at Lira Medical Centre and Anai wi-gweng, Lira City West Division.
Murongo emphasized the imperative for new believers to dedicate themselves to the study of the Word of God and the unwavering pursuit of a Christ-like existence.
He drew inspiration from the book of Acts 2:42, which chronicles the devotion of the early Christian community to the teachings of the apostles, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer.
According to Murongo, the most crucial step in becoming a true disciple of Christ is the acceptance of Jesus as one’s personal Lord and Savior, followed by baptism and active engagement in a faith-nurturing community.
It is through this holistic approach that individuals can truly internalize the values and principles that defined the life of Jesus, thereby becoming living embodiments of His teachings.
In an era of spiritual uncertainty and moral ambiguity, the call to a Christ-centered life serves as a beacon of hope and guidance for believers.
By steadfastly adhering to the example set by the Savior and immersing themselves in the study of the Scriptures, Christians can aspire to the transformative power of a life imbued with the essence of Christ.
