In a powerful sermon delivered at Ayago Faith Mission of Uganda, located in Ayago, Lira City East Division, Pastor Robert Opio urged believers to remain steadfast in their faith. He emphasized the importance of accepting Jesus Christ as the path to salvation.
Citing the book of Acts 16:16-31, Pastor Opio drew inspiration from the story of Paul and Silas. Despite facing persecution and imprisonment, they continued to proclaim the Gospel and sing hymns to God. Their unwavering faith ultimately led to their miraculous release and the conversion of their jailer.
“Beloved brethren, we must stand firm in our faith, just like Paul and Silas,” Pastor Opio exhorted the congregation in the local language.
“In a world filled with challenges and uncertainties, our faith in Jesus Christ is the anchor that holds us strong. We must not waver or compromise our faith, for it is the only way to attain salvation.” he added.

Pastor Opio emphasized that salvation is a gift that can only be received through accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. He encouraged believers to share the Gospel with others so they too may experience the transformative power of faith.
The sermon was met with enthusiasm and fervor, as the congregation responded with prayers and songs of praise. Ayago Faith Mission of Uganda is known for its vibrant worship services and commitment to spreading the Gospel.
