Lira, Uganda – In a powerful message delivered at Truth Evangelistic Fountain Ministries Main Church in Lira City East Division, Okello Richard Cox McOrik, the Lira District LC5 Chairperson, urged believers to cultivate a spirit of giving to the Lord.

Speaking on Sunday, February 23, 2025, RCM Okello Orik emphasized that giving to the Lord is a surefire way to attract blessings and prosperity into one’s life. He warned that those who are stingy and refuse to give will remain poor forever.

Drawing from his personal experience, Okello testified that his own life was transformed when he started building churches. He attributed his rise to becoming the chairman of the district to the blessings he received from God as a result of his giving.

Okello also cited the example of America, which he said is a nation that has been blessed by God due to its spirit of giving. He noted that America’s prosperity and lack of want are a direct result of its people’s willingness to give and support worthy causes.

The LC5 chairperson’s message was clear: giving to the Lord is not only a biblical principle, but also a key to unlocking blessings and prosperity in one’s life. As believers, he urged, we must cultivate a spirit of generosity and giving, not just to receive blessings, but also to honor God and advance His kingdom.
