Adjumani, Uganda – On September 5, 2025, at approximately 12:00 PM, police at Adjumani Central Police Station (CPS) successfully recovered a G3 rifle in Patua Cell, Cessia Ward, Adjumani Town Council, Adjumani District, following a tip-off from ESO staff.

The firearm, found without a magazine, was promptly secured and taken into custody under SD Reference 41/06/09/2025, according to SP Asea Collins, Police Public Relations Officer for the North West Nile Region.

The Officer-in-Charge (OC) and accompanying officers responded swiftly to the intelligence, ensuring the safe recovery of the weapon.
