Children of the Nations, COTN Uganda in Anai Okii Lira City West division has passed out a batch of students and beneficiaries from various fields of study in different institutions across the country.

In an event held on Wednesday March 6, 2024, the students were passed out in a graceful celebrations at the COTN Centre.
Pastor David Otto, the COTN Administrative director welcomed everyone at the event, and Imat Joan Pacoto, the Board of governors vice chairperson welcomed the students and presented them for awarding and realization of their achievements.

Rev. Dr. James Okalo Ekwang, the COTN Country Director gave gifts to the graduates to help them move on in life.
The gifts awarded included bicycles, bags, mattresses, money, and tools inline with their studied professions, to mention but a few.

Bishop Dr. Tom Ibrahim Okello, the guest preacher at the event spoke fevently on the skills and knowledge, saying a knowledgeable person teaches other people and that no one has knowledge unless he or she is tought.
Quoting 2 Timothy 2:15 he said once someone is taught, that person can do everything learned from the tutor, or even doing more things.

He referenced the teachings of Apostle Paul to one of the Churches who had no knowledge, and said they should do their best to study and gain more knowledge.
He said parents should as well teach their children basic skills on farming and all other necessary knowledge they need to learn.
He said the graduates should develop and give their knowledge to other people, for God is looking for people who are knowledgeable to make life easy.
Sharon Maya, one of the graduates, thanked the school administration for always supporting them in pursuing their dreams.
Gabriel kagenda, the University Vocation head urged the graduates to always work hard and above all, fear God.
Whereas, Hadrine Akullo, Sponsorship officer said COTN has two sections, the children home and study department and they are always working hard to ensure a brighter future for the children and students at large.
Rev. Dr. James Okalo Ekwang, the Country Director in his speech said COTN is is in over five Nations across the globe transforming lives everywhere.
The COTN founders Rev. Chris and Debbie Clark and the wife encouraged every parent and the community to always support children and give the the opportunity to transform lives.

Emma Aceng Okite, who represented the Minister of health Jane Ruth Aceng Ocero, the Chief guest, congratulated the founder members of COTN for always raising, supporting children and showing them the right path to follow.
She said the graduates should always remember that they are brave, smarter and always supported by God, only if they hold fast to working more harder and trusting God for success.

She quoted Proverbs 3:5-7, talking about success and walking with God, and Rev. Dr. Martin Luther Ogwal, the Faith Mission of Uganda District overseer in his prayers, blessed the graduates that led to the cutting of the cake and the clouser of the grand annual ceremony.
